Week leading up:
Purchased care package items, reached out to local charities for support, no help was agreed upon, I pressed on regardless.
25th July:
I stepped into the role of Santa, made cards by hand, packed care packages full of winter essentials, put together a winter edition of iLocal®, printed it out and then assembled it all for distribution.
26th July:
I distributed as many care packages and winter editions as possible at the newly relocated Sunday Morning breakfast in East Perth. Upon arrival I learned that the service had moved from Moore Street to Royal street, a change I hadn’t been notified of, so the booklet I distributed listed the old location. A fact I can only assume would be frustrating and disappointing for recipients. However it underscored just how vital up-to-date, hyper-local information is for people who rely on these services.
